The first couple videos are pretty much just parlor tricks. They might help your child build confidence in there ability. The last few videos actualy show usefull mental math. They show things like How to add a bunch of 3 digit numbers in your head. They show how to multiply 2 digit numbers in your head. Unfortunatly, School always makes you show your work. Therefore, This would only be usefull in a multiple choice test. Unless you practice it is probably slower in your head then on paper. I also feel you are more likely to make mistakes in your head then on paper or with a calculator. In the end the commercial on TV leads you to believe you will be getting mostly information about usefull math. There is only a little of that. This product is more of an expensive toy then a usefull tool. It would help you to impress your friends and maybe win a few bar bets. If you think it will make your kids math grades go up I would probably pass. It could be used to boost your kids self confidence in math. That is always a good thing.

I have 3 boys and we have tried multiple time to initiate the program . . It is MUCh more difficult than the infomercial and the advertisements portray . . . . and the host speeds through the lessons . . . more like showing off than teaching . . . . we are continuing to try, but the boys are getting frustrated that they "don't get it" . . . ..
