While flashcards are helpful they're boring. It can be hard enough to get kids to practice math, let alone enjoy it. My cousin got this for her daughter who is a little behind with her math skills and it's worked great! I remember my favorite way to practice math was always a computer game where you had to solve problems to defeat an evil wizard. This one takes it a few steps further. The scenarios in which you solve problems are real enough that it helps kids understand the applications of math and why they should care about learning it. Earning money from finishing challenges and then getting to spend it makes it even more realistic and encouraging!
