Bought this for my 5 year old daughter who is learning to read but isn't there yet. She loves it! I do wish there was more content on each book cartridge since they cost about $20/each. However, you have the option to buy an SD card and download stories from Vreader for pretty cheap. Still glad I bought it!

I purchased this for my granddaughter, who is five years old. She loves my kindle but isn't quite ready yet for a Kindle. I purchsed the V. Reader for her and several of the cartridge/books. She really enjoys scooby doo. I just wish there was a larger selection of cartridges for the V Reader. But really engages her and I can tell, she is going to be an avid reader! She prefers the reading to watching tv, which I really like!

This was my granddaughter's favorite present for over 2 years. She is gradually outgrowing it no, but she spend many hours reading and playing games on it.
