The pages are way stronger than the reg. PT books for the older kids. These pages are coated and are thicker and more durable. The pages have texture on some of the pictures too and the picture talk and/or make sounds as well.

My daughter received four books from this system when she was 9 months old for Christmas and loves them on their own. She learned her letters and the objects pictured. The books are very durable as she liked to bite on them while she was teething.
