As others mentioned, the barking sound is easily one of the more abrasive things I've encountered in a long time. No volume, no off switch, just NON. STOP. BARKING.
Otherwise a cute toy. I may open it up and muffle or disable the speaker.

We got this for my son, b/c we saw something similar on Baby Einstein. Of course, on that video, the classical music plays over the yippy barking that never stops. The kids love watching the dogs go round and round, but our ears, our ears! Finally, my handy hubby opened this thing up and found the bark producer and removed it. I don't know what it is about this toy, but it's magical. It has the ability to completely hypnotize a 4 year old for an un-natural length of time. the dogs go up... the dogs slide down. makes an annoying, constant squeeking "bark" so be warned. if you need some free time to yourself, put this and the kid in a seperate room and enjoy your alone time.
