I am a talented and gifted(TAG) teacher and my students LOVE all three Linkology games. I've played this with Kindergarten students all the way up to fifth grade. As an adult, I even love to play this game. It really connects simple concepts to multiple objects. The animal version features terms such as: invertebrate (has no backbone), vertebrate (has a backbone), cold-blooded, warm-blooded, amphibian, reptile, omnivore, carnivore, herbivore, etc. I've taught students what these words mean, and made a print-out of what characteristics each class of animal possesses. I'll ask: "Does this animal have smooth, wet-looking skin? Does this animal have webbed feet?" If these answers are yes, then it's probably an amphibian. What does each class of animal look like and do? Does this animal fit into that class? These questions are great for critical thinking and learning about these scientific concepts. I can't wait until there are MORE Linkology games!My 5 year old son loves this game and so do we. Educational and fun. Recommend it to anyone interested in the body.
