It is their personal space and insist that we have them ready when the stay over. It has rounded corners and very safe. The top area has a lip all around so toys, food etc don't fall off. It is great for pet safety as well keeping away unwanted objects.
Extremely well constructed, nice smooth finish made of solid wood not plastic. They are made in America, even better. Easy to set up and will last forever
Ps. We had to get two cubes, one for each grandchild.We have utilized the cube for students in our classroom to take a time out on their own when needed.
