Discount Learn to Play Music with Ricky Recorder
Oh my Gosh!!! Ricky Recorder is a great item! I used to own this software several years ago and I think it still is unmatched for it's clever intruction style for beginers. I was delighted to find it here today, because, I lost this software when I went through computer changes yrs ago. This software is very easy to use, very different, and has the ability to teach recorder to kids and adults. So if your looking for something simple and fun, this really is a great little item. Since I lost this, I would remember it fondly on occasion, but could never find it anywhere, and thought I had read at one point, that it was out of production. My aunt, at 80+ years, loved my description of it, when a few years ago, I was recounting about it. She was very interested in trying it. The software has easy lessons for learning to read music, and for teaching the recorder. How it works, is it uses a small mic, that plugs into, as I recall, either the speaker or mic area of your computer, Then you take the other end, which is the mic, and simply rubber band it onto the recorder, and when you follow along and repeat the lessons, the software, will let you know when you play the lessons correctly or incorrectly. The mic is very small, and does not interfere with playing either, so this was not an issue. The software made me chuckle, with it's funny comments. The one I remember most was a goofy; "Your the bird in the Forest" when you repeated a lesson correctly. This is a cute, simple and fun way to take recorder lessons for both kids, and even adults of all ages. Especially if you are interested in a very simple method in begining music instruction and beging recorder lessons. and this reveiw is coming from a person, who plays a stringed instrument in session groups, and is also taking the time to write an amazon reveiw for the very first time, and I have purchased quite a few, much more expensive, hgher end musical instruction dvds, etc on amazon, that I've been happy with. So there you have it!!! Enjoy this one, I know I will being ordering it for my aunt and myself again!
