I bought this game for my three year old grandson. It was his first game. He love it. Being familiar with the book, he easily understood the concept of the game. It is great for counting and learning to take turns. I would recommend this game

My son is 3 and a half. we played through the entire game three times in the last two days. this is the first board game that he was able to follow and enjoy from start to finish. Read the book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" first. The game follows the book.
