very good for a 5 yr old and we love to read it together as a "team". This book has excedded our expectations in terms of being fun and educational. Highly recommend.

This Tag book is a good read for kids, there is not many games init. If you are looking for a Tag book that is more about reading then playing the games this is it. There is also a Tag game book you can get that is about the Penguins, the games in it are educational (wordsearch, spelling, ect). I bought both books, this book has more of the story line from the movie.

We've had three books so far (Ozzie which came with the tag, The Little Engine that Could, and this one), and this has the least amount of activities at the end of the three. Ozzie had the most and it almost seems like Leapfrog put all their efforts into that book and just added a couple of games for the other books. This book has only one page of games at the end. The games are what makes the books really worth it because they "can" be very good. We've had the Ozzie book for over a year, and my kids still play those games and are still stumped by some of them.

This is a good book. As a parent, I didn't think that this book was functional in terms of educating. There are better ones out. I'll give it one thumb up.

My grandchildren love these books and so does their mom! They learn very quickly how to use them and I was shocked to see how quickly my first little grandson learned to read on his own after using these! I don't know if it was the books or just that I have an incredibly smart grandson, but he reads so well and loves it! (Maybe it's a grandma's prejudice showing through!) But, it is a great product and well worth buying.
