I purchased these batteries back in December. I bought 3 packs (12 total). My main consideration was use in my son's electronic toys. Like any little kid, he turns his toys on, but forgets to turn them off. I put new batteries in on Monday, find them dead on Thursday.

Anyhow, I've charged and recharged these batteries many time over the course of 9-months and they have yet to disappoint. I use them in his small flash lights, toy computers, Thomas engines and his Lightning McQueen digital camera. In addition, I also use them in various small, household appliances. I have a charger in the kitchen where I keep 4 charged at all times. Once used, they last nearly as long as a good alkaline. I know over the course of the past 9-months, these batteries have MORE than paid for themselves and I'm sure I've saved myself a bunch of money.

Recommended? Highly! If you got kids and electronics in your home, you won't regret investing in a charger and these higher capacity Ni-Mh batteries!

I had a set of these, that after 13 years of continued use (using them frequently helps prolong life) finally showed signs of old age and deterioration. While rechargeables don't charge to as high a voltage as regular batteries, at least they don't with my solar charger, I have enough to have a set in the light and a set in the charger. Works for me.
