These cards are very nice and we have played with them since our child was a newborn. It is super fun to watch our child look all over the cards, especially when we flip them over to reveal the reverse contrast of the same picture. As he gets older, our son seems to notice different things and can look at these cards for a looong time...good attention span-expanding skills.

We got these cards as a gift and as parents thought they were very cute. We especially liked the bold black-and-white design and the fact that they aren't as pastel and "cutesy" as many of the other products designed for small babies. We were surprised, though, at how much our baby boy likes them! He's captivated every time we hand him one. I didn't think that flash cards would compete with rattles and other toys for his attention, but he really seems to like these cards a lot.

Baby wasn't very interested in them and difficult to place so he could safely see and benefit. A hanging black and white toy would have been more practical.

These held my daughter's attention far better than I thought they would.

She started watching them when she could track objects and we used them for many months. I took them away when she was teething and just haven't dug them back out of the toy box. I am sure she would still like looking at (and chewing) these.

They are cardboard, and not protected (e.g. laminated) so drool and chewing will destroy them. Just FYI. :)
