I own half dozen sx guitars, not this color, but needs vouched for the girls and daughters out there. Gladly endorse sx, and this niche never gets served...well. They do great. It's a 3/4 scale rst model, very familiar..the scale is the distance from the string guide to bridge, this being maybe 2 inches shorter, ideal for girl avg age 9-14, this scale raises the pitch of the guitar a bit, but you can tune down to get standard pitch with much easier action and less work on hands. Body is alder hardwood (not junk) bolt on maple neck with rosewood board (sx is well regarded for their necks) this is a fantastic starter, as it's made just like the bigger rst, no cheap toy parts.

Sx is a rhondo music brand out of New Hampshire, made for them in China... Rhondo is considered guitar experts by all grades.
They have tons of different models at various prices, sx being close to an entry level, in no way junk. Classic strat style, tone, and playability. I discovered sx because I'm lefty, and they have good selections in lefty that don't break the bank,
The rundown:
Good materials, great quality control, great frets (real not unlevel thin junk) nice tight grain rosewood boards...
The shorts, they have the avg. zinc block tremelo (whammy bar thingy) as does everything under 300$, but at least they have one... The pickups are ok but they kinda fall short of boutique... In this case they excel for a smaller scale guitar, makers usually go cheap on kids stuff, best I know these are the same as standard rst pups. They'll get up and go, don't know that Clapton would prefer them but they're not awful at all. If you know strat at all these things are easily adjustable for players, string saddles can be adjusted to get string heights nice and low, intonations can be tuned, etc, truss rod neck adjustment for neck tilt etc.(they include Allen key wrenches to do this) the strat design is by far the most widely played in guitar history due to this stuff and it's comfort play ratio.
You get 3 pickups and five sound styles, from rocky/folky/pop-y/country/blues-y it's all in the design...and 5 position switching combos for 3 pickups... Which are also adjustable for tone heights, crunchy, vs smooth etc. with a Phillips.
The sx's all have good reliable wiring, and it is not tough to upgrade anything on them as you go.
Strat styles are also great personal art displays as you often see them drawn on with markers paints stickers and all such things, the sx tuning keys are decent too, they are standard low ratio sealed 45% again not junk like other brands I won't name. I'm not a spokesman for sx or rhondo etc. when I was a kid there was nothing affordable even close to how well these are made. It's just worth mentioning for all players out there, as I love all my guitars... Too many... Yet never enough.
