I absolutely love this walker. We bought it for our daughter's 1st birthday and she was up walking behind it two days later! She loves it and uses it everyday. We don't need to walk right next to her like we had to with a simliar kind of toy. The other toy rolled too quickly for her walking pace. It got away from her too fast and she would end up falling down a lot. The rubber on the wheels of the giraffe walker prevent this from happening. It's fantastic!! The shapes are a nice bonus too.

When my wife first bought this, I was skeptical of how much our son would play with it. I had no reason to be. He is about 10 months old and crawling all over the place and can easily stand up with support (he can stand on his own but only for a short period). Immediately after being introduced to this toy, he took off! Seriously, he stood up, grabbed the handlebars and started walking (with the help of this toy) from wall to wall. Even now, months later, he loves it. I highly recommend this toy because no only will the kids enjoy it, it will help them with their walking. He doesn't play with the little blocks at all but that might come later. But the walker alone is worth the purchase. And for those curious about safety, it actually has a way to secure the back wheel so it doesn't turn so fast that the walker shoots out in front of your baby and sends them on the floor. As they become more capable, you can loosen it and the walker will move easier. Buy it and watch your little one go!

The best part of this toy in my opinion is... it's not plastic! it is very cute, and very well put togetherwe have had no problems at all with it. extremely easy to assemble with just 2 screws to put in. it really is heirloom quality. my one year old son loves to spin the eyeball around and crinkle the ears, and he has recently figured out how to put the circle block into the circle hole on the shape sorter. and it's great for helping him learn to walk. it works well both on our linoleum floors and carpets. he does have some trouble steering it, so i have to help him, but he's learning. he's recently taken his first independent steps (yay!) and he still has a blast pushing his giraffe around. we have been really happy with this excellent toy.

I bought this item to help my son walk on our hardwood floors. It is much better than the plastic toys that seem to zoom away from them and cause spills. Cute and mostly sturdy, my 9 month old is a large baby at almost 26 pounds and 30 inches tall. The product works well but it is a little smaller/shorter than I expected and not quite as wide or solid. Parents definitely need to stay within arms reach to avoid tumbles. Overall a nice standup walker and good quality.

This is a very cute product in that the giraffe's eye spins, the ears are crinkly, and the shape sorter is unique. That being said, if you are using this on hardwood floors, the plastic/rubber wheels do not stay straight. For a little one who is trying to walk, they are not able to "steer" as well. They also do not have enough pressure to push down as they walk to keep this going in a straight line. Thus, after about two feet of walking, it starts to veer one direction or another when used on hard wood floors. If you were using this on carpet, it does work well.

As a note, if using this on hard wood floors, I would only buy a walker like this that has rubber tires. I have the Melissa and Doug alligator chomper walker and it works great!
