I wasn't really able to use 2500x but besides that this is a pretty good microscope. The base light on this microscope tends to get pretty hot and it is encased in a metallic cylinder shell. The sample analyzing table only moves in the y direction and not in the x.

This product is great. It comes with 100X, 40X, 10X, and 4X objectives and a 10X and 25X eyepiece. It is very sturdy and is made of almost all metal. The light warms up the whole base and makes it a little hot to the touch but that is not a big deal. You also may be concerned that it is tungsten lighting but there is a filter on the light it self that makes it look LED. When comparing it to a LED microscope there is hardly a difference. Over all this is a great deal and you won't find anything close to it for the price.

recieved quick and simply, with no hassles and packed tightly. wonderfully solid and heavy metal. such fun to use and shows clear images. only problem was the instruction book, which isnt much more than a pamphlet, so be ready to look it up. and i sure wish they mentioned the styrophome shipping carton is the only storage case, because i sure would have paid a little more for the option of some type of storage container for it. all in all it was a good buy and just as good as many of the more expensive ones. this is the best mail order purchase i have ever made. I am so glad i chose this product. i enjoy it every time i use it....HERE IS IS APRIL... and I am reviewing my review to make sure to add that this is just about the greatest product I have ever gotten! its so funto use and for as inexpensive as it was, it does just as good and better than many much more expensive ones. My number one on the list of glad I took the c hance on mail order stuff... Its quality and durability are outstanding...GET IT if you are choosing one... you'll never be sorry you did.. its the greatest!!
