I initially loved these mats and thought it was such a bargain. A bargain is only worth its price though as within two weeks of daily use, the mat's colors are coming off. I am not even scrubbing hard but the color comes off and I won't let my child eat directly off the mat for fear of what might be in the coloring. Very disappointed for Melissa & Doug...

Great educational, fun, interactive, and lasting placemats. We tried several other and wouldn't hold anywhere near these. Besides you can buy different designs appropriate to your child's age to keep them challenged. We use most meal times as an educational session and our children love it.

The only draw back is that is kind of hard to draw on them and the special water proof crayons are not a dime-a-dozen

Great for educational purposes. My Girls really enjoy playing with these mats at the table. You can use dry erase and clean it off.

I primarily bought this for the mats, and thought the crayons coming with them was a bargain. Well, they are very low quality, hard to color with and break off easily. Threw them out and use Crayola Wipe Off Crayons-much better.

these are super cute, great educational value and high quality durable mats. Our boys trash them with food spills and scribble all over them with crayons and markers. With just a little effort, we are able to clean them up like new.
