Educational Insights MathShark *FREE storage bag included* Review
I wanted my son to maintain his math skills over the summer break. I was worried about this device not comparing with the apps on our iPhone. Here is what is great. This feels like a video game device but it is all math. For my boy the call of angry birds and other flashy items on the phone were a distraction. If I give him this for 15 mins I know he is doing something with his math skills. He seemed to love it. I made him turn it off for bed. I think he likes the immediate feedback of being right or wrong. I think he feels successful. He is young so I am not a good resource for how appropriate it is for older children. The bag is silly and a funny thing to promote. Doesn't fit the color or anything. But thr device is simple and easy for independent learning.
