I disagree with tha age recommendation. My almost 2 year-old LOVES this car and it is very safe...something I am really picky about!

This car is a lot of fun and has so far withstood the trails a toddler can put a toy through.

All you've got to do is push the Wiggle's down in their car and watch them go. I was hesistant to buy this for my son because it didn't seem like it does anything else but move a few feet and sing one line. But for a Wiggle's fan, he seemed to enjoy playing with this toy even though it's not his favorite. It goes pretty fast and far but just doesn't seem like it drives for long. It says in the description that it rolls for 10 seconds but I think it rolls for more like 5 seconds and then stops. It seems my son gets tired of chasing it every few seconds to make it go again. I wouldn't recommend this unless you're desperate for a Wiggle's toy. (There aren't that many to choose from)

I bought this for my neice for her 2nd birthday, she absolutely loves it! she likes to lay on the floor and watch the color wheels spin and pass by her. Besides all the other toys she had gotten for her birthday this is one that she keeps playing with. The durability, so far she dropped it off the dining room table and it withstands anything this lil rugrat does. It's perfect for any wiggle fan!

My 3 year old played with this a lot when he first got it, but the appeal wore off pretty fast. Although he is a big Wiggles fan, he seldom plays with this now.

When you press down on it it plays about 10 seconds of "Toot Toot Chugga Chugga" . It doesn't work well on carpets but it will go about 10 feet on a hard surface. It already comes with batteries so your child can start playing right away. We made the mistake of giving it to our son in its original box thinking that he would enjoy opening the box. The only problem was that the car is secured to the box with several plastic twist ties, and it then took us about 10 anxious minutes to get it out. My advice is to remove all of the packaging before even showing it to your child.

Also, there is a switch on the bottom of the car that is pre-set for demo mode in which the car runs for about half as long as normal mode. Be sure to switch this to normal mode.

We bought this toy for our 20 month old son and he just can't get enough of it. It's been two months and he still pushes down the guys and dances around to the music. Even when I play the entire song on TV for him, he'll run over to the car to get it started so he can dance along.

Like other reviewer's children, he loves to hold it down to keep it from moving and it does sound like it's going to break but it hasn't. We're already on our second set of batteries! The only toy better than this for a Wiggles fanatic like our son, is the Wiggles guitar!
