This is a neat little package for people who want to start with programing and like to tinker with things but for people who are even a little serious about things of this nature, getting a real Arduino board would be much better off.

The bent pins and poor placement inside the box when I opened scared me a bit, but i fixed it right up.

Awesome kit, complete with an arduino board. I'm excited to try out some new projects with it. And the price was far better than everywhere else I looked. Love it!

It is great to have something like sainsmart UNO R3 to play with that there"s so much things you can do with it and your only limitation is your imagination.

This kit was fairly cheaply made and packed. When you download the PDF of project files from the manufacturer, it is hard to read, understand and use. The case came cracked. The large solder-less breadboard does not work reliably. The LCD screen has ready-to-solder connections which do not really work with jumper wires (expect to solder on some header pins yourself). Pins were bent on the boards. The back of the breadboards were scratched up. The push buttons do not work well with breadboards.

I bought this because it was half the price of the Arduino-made kit and had the LCD screen. For the money, it is okay if you know how to research and fix things. But, expect this to be frustrating enough that most people won't use it very much.
