My Grandson really loves it...And it comes with live ants...They are making tunnels and he is so excited...He has autism and is really enjoying it...It is self contained so he doesn't have to feed or water them...If you order an ant farm without ants be prepared to wait for the ants...This system is much better than one without ants...Like my Grandson said..."It isn't an ant farm without ants"...
