I use this microscope for looking at gems and minerals and I have no significant problems or complaints. Well made with good lenses, good lighting, and sturdy construction. A lot of bang for the buck!

Great for looking at tiny details. The quality and versatility are there. Begin with money, stamps, jewelry, feathers, table salt, sugar, sand, and move on from there. Check out your manicure using a toothpick as a pointer. Find some dust mites! I dont think it's for micro-cellular biology, that would not be a stereo gem microscope... I might order a small kit of prepared slides.
