This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She loved it, but was disappointed because the key did not work at all. We had to get a replacement lock from store, does not match.

My 6 year old, who doesn't have the best handwriting, desperately wanted ta journal. I lucked out with this one. The lock diary is not thief (or brother proof) but it's good enough. The design is great and the packaging perfect. The lines in the journal itself aren't college ruled or Pre-K wide. JUST the right amount of space.

She loves this.
