Spotting scope works very well both at the range and in the field, though I highly recommend getting a better tripod for it. The tripod that comes with it is basically useless, would have given the product 5 stars otherwise.

Scope is fine. Clear images to check bullet holes at 100 yards. As with other reviewers, the tripod is worthless.

So far, I have only used the scope at the rifle range. Clarity at 100 yards leads me to believe that it will be fine for checking shot groups at longer ranges.
