The tone is on key and although the sound is made by bars and not strings as in a real piano the sound is pleasing. The sound it emits is not too loud or too soft. The hardware to put the seast together did not fit on the two units I purchased for my Grand-daughters. The bolts are too short. Had to make modifications to put the seats together.

Should not have to do this your QA should have found this issue before sending product to consumers.

I bought this hoping that it would work well for my 2 year old granddaughter and last. She bangs the keys along with my 3 year old grandson and it is holding up well. Actually the item is better than I anticipated.

Santa brought this for my 2 1/2 yo son. He likes it and it sounds good, for a toy, but a little "tinny" sounding. The "bench" is not that great as my son can not sit on it by himself without it falling over. It is just not very sturdy for a small child. My son loves the piano though and plays it standing up or I help him sit. I love teh look of this piano, it sits in our living room and fits in great. It looks like real furniture instead of the ugly plastic pianos.

First of all, a great looking and playing little red piano. One that can be passed down thru the children -------with some work. Mine arrived with a crack at the top of one of the sides. Not enough to worry about returning luckily. But one day, I picked it up to move it and the top board came right off. There was one long staple on both sides holding the top on. That's it! I was shocked. So I took off the little pieces of wood attached to the top board and screwed them in and then rescrewed the existing screws back into the smaller wood pieces attached to the top board. It's not going anywhere now. The crack I can live with, which should have really been caught by production before it left the factory because there was also a small nick on the edge of one of the top boards about the size of a pencil eraser dented into the edge. It was painted over like that so I know someone had to see it. But the poor construction was a surprise. It's fixed now and will be used for hopefully generations. Just a little disappointed.
