The Signal Launcher fires the three included rockets REALLY FAR. A good 10 pumps or so, and those things are sailing way over 50 feet. Each missile has some gimmicky special feature, and all make a spectacularly annoying whistling noise as they arc through the air. I'm not sure what purpose these would serve a spy, since the sparkly ribbons, bright colors, and whistle would probably blow one's cover. As a rocket-launching Nerf-like blaster, the thing's great. It also accepts Buzz Bee missiles.
Fit and finish are excellent. It's solid, well-balanced, and feels high-quality. Interior parts are beefy and will stand some abuse. The missiles are very high-quality, more so than Nerf products.
In terms of modifying for Nerf wars, the Signal Launcher's mechanism is equivalent to the Buzz Bee Big Blast, but the build quality exceeds it. Easy to work on, capable of shooting accurately over 100 feet, and has a compact pistol-like frame
Highly recommended to junior spies, Nerf veterans, and collectors of Ming vases.

More powerful than I thought; if you launch with full pressure, it could really leaves a welt (yes, kids should not launch at close distances, but "kids" will)
