I like the vreader for our son. We have about 5 stories and this is my least favorite. I can't stand the voice of the narrater.

My 3 y/o son really likes this eBook cartridge in his V.Reader. He got 3 eBooks for Xmas, this is the first one we put in his new eReader and he's been so pleased with it we haven't even put either of the other 2 cartridges in yet. I find the book a little painful to listen to because the narrator reads the story SO slowly, but my son certainly enjoys the pace and doesn't seem to get bored with it. He also enjoys doing the educational activities that come as part of the eBook. There are writing activities where you use the stylus to practice writing letters, numbers and words after watching the screen write the letters properly. There are reading games/activities that teach syllables, rhyming, opposites, capital vs lower case letters, and different sounds at the beginning of words. There are also activities involving coloring pictures or doodling your own pictures using different colors.

We bought our grandson a v.Reader two years ago along with all the games for his age. He is 5 now and has mastered every game we bought him. Now we have bought all the games for 5-7 years old for his Christmas. We look forward to watching him play with them. v.Reader is an excellent game and learning tool for young kids.

My son loves anything to do with trains and this new V. Reader I got for him. It's fun to read and it tells the story and is almost like a mini movie to keep them entertained. Fist electronic book he will lisen to all the words read on a page before continuing onto the next....
