I work with special needs children around 2-3 years of age and every one of them loves this toy. They enjoy it so much that I purchased another for my 3 year old and 5 year old boys. They both really enjoy it too. As described by other reviewers, it has many modes such as music, counting, phonics, spelling and telling the time. It also has a low and high volume setting. The music and words are of good quality and are clear, making it easy to understand. The children also like watching the keys light up during the activities.Best Deals for Touch & Discover Alphabet Town
Yes, it's cute and yes it lights up, but it's teaching the wrong things. I AM a teacher and the phonics section of the toy is totally wrong! Many of the consonants are mispronounced, adding the "uh" sound to the end. Also, when my son doesn't "perform" to acceptable levels, it boo's him and puts a big X on the screen. I'd much rather hear "try again" a thousand times than that. LeapPad products have accurate phonics and positive reinforecement.Honest reviews on Touch & Discover Alphabet Town
This one 2 year old son got as a gift.He really like it a lot than any other interactive toys he has played. It is more friendly and interactive. It has 7 different activites including a 'clock quiz' to learn time.Very good battery life.
