We bought these tiles to help my 2nd grader with spelling review. They are magnetic and have a bold letter on the front. Exactly what we looking for. There are four of each letter. Good quality.

The wooden tiles are very durable and clearly printed. The attached magnets are strong. I use the tiles in a classroom spelling center on the side of a large file cabinet. My only suggestion is that I wish the set came with lower case letters too.

I teach middle schoolers, and we use these magnetic scrabble tiles as part of some fun review games: Latin Scrabble is a favorite! Very high quality and many uses. Grade: A+!

I recently purchased these for a 4-year old. And while I agree that they are very strong and durable I think they are better for older children because 1) they are extremely strong magnets and 2) they are fairly flat and therefore difficult for little fingers to grab. I also bought the Teaching Tiles which I liked better for little fingers because they are a little thicker and easier for younger children to grab. And unlike these magnets the Teaching Tiles are strong but not too strong to easily move around.

While the tiles and quality were good, I got like 8 x's and 6 z's and hardly any vowels, something is wrong with this picture...
