I love the Doodle Mark, it is such a great innovative idea when it comes to allowing kids to have fun while learning. For the price of $7.99, it is a great value for a learning tool or a great great gift. I love how the Doodle Mark offers itself as a bookmark and a writing tool.
I was really impressed with how well the Doodle Mark attached to the book, to be used as a bookmark. It is super easy to clip on and off a book. Using it as a bookmark allows the kids to do several different things with the writing pad. They can draw their own picture from their imagination to go along with the story, count how many times they see one word, write the page numbers, these are just a few of the off the wall things they can do and have fun.
They can also use the Doodle Mark during the practice of spelling words. Since kids write out the words on paper during a spelling test, they can use the Doodle Mark at home while studying. Instead of having them spell the words out to use, they can write the word on the Doodle Mark. This saves on paper and also allows kids to have fun while learning.
This has been great for my little girl and has become one of her most favorite things when studying or reading. Now, I need to get my little boy one, maybe one with a car on it.
