I have to say, I don't use this for school, but I use it for a weekly chore chart. I still love it! I've tried others, but I like how you have a "completed" area so that they can see what they have done the kids have taken to it also. Thanks!

I bought this to help my six year old son manage his morning routine. He gets to learn independence and I don't have to bug him about the same things in the same sequence every morning. The schedule works fairly well for that sort of thing. My only gripe is that the velcro area is kinda small, so the pieces fall off unless my son can place them squarely on the velcro backing. I seem to be constantly looking around for the pieces and putting them back on. That got real tedious, real quick.
Overall, though, it did what I wanted it to do and works well enough. It gets the job done and it's at a price that won't break most people's bank account. I do recommend this if you are trying to ease your morning routine and you have a child more interested in playing with their toys than getting ready for school.

Wow! This really changed our mornings. My husband and I always had to constantly remind our kids what to do to get ready for school, etc. This chart has made them self sufficient. They like we, we love it.

This is perfect for kids starting school, some of the items might not apply for the younger kids but most of them they can do by themselves or with you.

I love that this product comes laminated! The only reason I gave it 4 stars on durability is because I would like for the chart to be a bit thicker. My son (2 yrs. old) can't pull the tasks off without ripping the chart off the fridge so I feel like if the chart was a bit thicker it might hold up to him pulling tasks off better (but this really isn't that big of a deal, I'm just being picky). I can't express how much I love this chart!! It has taken a lot of the fighting and struggle out of getting ready in the morning. My child is autistic and this gives him a visual orgainization to the things he needs to do before we leave the house in the morning. He likes that he gets to move tasks over to the completed section and once he's completed the chart we top it off by giving him one M&M or some other reward. I would highly recommend this to not only special needs kiddos but any child who is struggling with task completion because this chart gives them a sense of pride and accomplishment! Not to mention this is a great way for children to learn to become organized and leads to better time management and organization in the future.
