Product arrived quickly. My son was really excited about. Directions easy to read. Pulled plastic tab from battery compartment as advised. However product was intermittently working. Battery was weak and after 2 minutes of use was completely dead. Had to buy new batteries which are button batteries which costs $8. So I ended up having to pay much more than price listed due to the cost of new batteries for a brand new toy. Works great after replacement of batteries. Further, it's a hexbug Spider. Spiders have 8 legs. The toy has 6 legs. How do you explain why this is so to a bright young child who knows better.

We bought two of these (one for each twin) and they absolutely loved them, we have lost one of the remotes and broken 2 legs so far, but that's what happens with 3 year old boysBest Deals for Hexbug Spider - Blue
It's cool. It's amazing you can buy something like this for about $20. Go to youtube if you want to see it go. It works best on flat hard surfaces and doesn't work well on carpet. Shag would probably stop it because the legs don't lift up high enough. I bought 100 batteries for about $9 delivered on Amazon(My Battery Supplier) because the robot does go through them. It takes 3. The batteries in the remote last longer. It takes 2. It's fun and a little bit eerie. I think it's the way it marches. lol
