My girls (ages 3 and 6) absolutely love Jake and the Never Land Pirates. We have all of the toys (Bucky, Hook's Boat, Skull Island, Adventure Rock, etc.) and they play with them constantly. They also love the Jake iPad App. We gave this toy to our 3 year old and she spent maybe 2 minutes with it before becoming completely bored with it. The screen is so primitive and looks so terrible (basic black and white LCD pixels) that in this day and age, it just doesn't hold up to the competing toys out there. If your kids ever use an iPod Touch or iPad and are used to that quality, they will not care at all for this toy. I realize the price difference is huge with this toy being so much cheaper, but kids don't care about that. Kids are pretty spoiled these days with technology so you should probably look elsewhere for a toy with a better screen that may keep your kids interested for a little longer.Best Deals for VTech Smart Ship Learn and Go - Disney's Jake and the Never Land
Because it's really annoying when it makes sounds. And the aunt (or uncle) doesn't have to be around for the terrible sounds it makes. Take that, sibling who had children before you did.That's how you do Christmas presents.

My son loves Jake so he really liked this one at 1st.But its not as fun ad the other Vtech consoles he got so sad to say it did not get played with much

I bought this as a gift for a big Jake and the Never Land Pirates fan. They really enjoyed the toy and appears to be very educational as well.
