I got this as my daughter's 2 yr old birthday gift and she totally loves it. She saw her first real-life replica of Sue (a T-Rex in chicago) about a month before, and she's become a complete dinosaur enthusiast. She understands it's not a toy, but likes to sit with it on her lap and look at it.

Indeed it seemed a bit small when taken out of the box, but the detailing is superb and teeth are indeed quite sharp and pointed. This sits in a wooden table/stand in our library facing the living room, but it could fit in the bookshelf of a high end office or a foyer to a museum!

We are very happy.

For dinosaur enthusiasts, this is a real treat. It is realistic looking, solid and the teeth are even sharp. In passing, it can easily be mistaken for the real thing. Studying it, I'm better able to imagine these animals alive. It is smaller than expected (even though i knew it was going to be 1/10 scale), and it unscrews off the base easily if it is handled too much. But my son and I love it.

I saw this at the Natural History Museum in California. Couldn't take it back home then, because we had to many carry on luggage. So when I checked on Amazon I was so glad that I could get it later. Now I have it, and am very pleased with it. Paid S & H, but well worth it.
