I ordered these as gift for my twin 11 year old nephews, as a fun way to play with them(that isn't Call of Duty)Explaining the experiment to them is a great way to build and share your knowledge (or newly acquired, directions are included and an explanation of the chemical process occurring) with them, while helping them expand.
Negatives: takes about a week for good growth
