When I ordered it for my daughter, I didn't know it would be so useful. It has three musical styles:Pop, Jazz and Classical. It allows to listen to each instrument (harp, piano, drum, violin and trumpet) separately and playing one composition. Each instrument and conductor sing about themselves. I like Chicco products in general, but this toy exceeded all my expectations and ones of my little daughter.

The Chicco Orchestra is an interesting toy, providing 3 modes of operation. The instruments setting explain what the instrument is. The songs mode offers a little ditty for each instrument. Finally, there's the orchestra mode which has 3 music styles with 2 songs within each (6 total). I was a little disappointed that the toy didn't offer more orchestra songs then it does, but totaling all 3 modes it does offer many entertainment options. The voice(s) or tones that are used for the toy are a little goofy and fun, but sometimes can leave parents wondering what Chicco was trying to accomplish (particularly the harp and violin).

Despite a few nuances, the fact of the matter is whether or not my son enjoys the toy. He enjoys this toy very well and plays with it quite frequently. As with many other Chicco products, this toy is built very well. I was a little concerned about the "conductor" because he sticks out, but the entire toy has remained in excellent condition, despite my son's attempts to dismantle it by any means he can. Overall, I highly recommend this product for the educational value this toy offers, where it teaches about the instruments and how they interact with one another during song play.

We have this toy in our church's nursery and the kids love it every week. The little songs each instrument sings about themselves are catchy and creative. Whatever talent they used to record the songs did a great job they sound like they're having a lot of fun with it. I'm considering buying one for at home!

I got this toy for our 19-month-old. The "orchestra" option is amazing at showing how instruments interact while bringing music to life very educational! I bet many adults do not have this kind of notion. Sad thing there are only two songs per rhythm, for a total of 6 songs (2 classical, 2 jazz, 2 pop). The other options are kind of OK, but our little one still gets a good laugh at the fun noises. The batteries in our toy were leaking when we got it, but luckily it didn't compromise the functioning of the toy. And sad we paid 10 bucks more ($34) for it 10 days ago!!!

I bought this toy for my daughter because she loves music and things that light up. This toy is really interactive and holds my daughter's attention. There are three different buttons you can choose from to learn about the musical instruments and different types of music. This toy is also really easy for my daughter to carry around with her. My only complaint is that the harp sounds VERY sexual and there is only one voice but they changed the pitch to make different voices. So overall a good toy interactive and educational toy.
