All I have to say is really hope they're not lying about the paint being non-toxic. My daughter LOVED this toy. It was her favorite "going out in the car" toy. That is until one day while sitting in a restaurant I looked over and noticed green drool on her chin. Upon closer inspection, the paint on one section of the toy totally wearing off IN HER MOUTH. Maybe all painted wood toys eventually? Hasn't happened with any other of my daughter's wood toys though...

Our 3&1/2 month old LOVES this wooden toy and I feel good that he's not chewing on a piece of plastic! The price is good and this toy/teether/rattle is worth every penny.

I bought this for my baby, who was 9 months at the time she received this. I love the quality of this item and the pretty wood and basic shapes. I feel good about her sticking this toy in her mouth, versus the plastic rattles/toys she has (who knows what is in those plastics!!). I would definitely buy this again.
