Seriously, we spoiled him with *expensive* movie replica light sabers for Christmas and these are his favorite gift? We bought two and he insisted we hang them on his wall immediately. He lights them every night for bedtime. They're really nice in that they have a timer feature that turns them off after 20 minutes so I don't have to worry about going and turning them off. The base can be left behind so they can be removed from the wall for easy questing throughout the house. They flicker for a real-life flame effect. Best purchase of the season! (:

We bought two of these torches for my 6 year-old's Minecraft birthday party and they were absolutely perfect. All the kids loved them, and after the party, we mounted them in the boys room, one to each bunk bed. They are very easy to remove from their "hooks" on the wall, turn easily on and off, and they flicker in a very cool way. They also shut off automatically after about 10 minutes which saves battery life and makes them perfect nightlights. LOVE these.

My son loves everything about it. We got it for him as a creative night-light that he could take with him on trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night. He is THRILLED with it! I bought this for my 8 year old son's minecraft room that we did, but it would also be great for a castle room. It comes with the mounting gear and flickers a nice light in the room. My son thinks it so cool and so do I.

Ok, this toy light looks just like a torch, allowing your young (or not so young) wannabe adventurers pretend they are Indiana Jones or any one else for that matter.

They do not give a lot of light, juts a bit more than a nitelight. But they look very realistic. The `flame" is soft plastic.

The "torch" turns off after about 10 minutes, limiting it's use as a real nite-light.

Required two AA batteries.
