My grandsons--ages 5 and 3--love exploring sections of the yard to see what current inhabitants and temporary visitors are up to. Their Mom came home from work one day to find them each with with a praying mantis in a jar, sitting on the front steps to have a snack because they didn't want to leave their friends.
