This toy was purchased for educational purposes. The colors and design are beautiful. It would be especially appealing to little girls. It has enough openings to provide practice with shape orientation and placement but not too many that it becomes frustrating. The toy is extremely well designed for the purpose of teaching early cognitive skills to young children.
