It is fairly small torso; it's about 4 inches and I can put it on my hand. Though you can check only 4 parts-heart, liver, stomach and the intestinesthe other parts are colored to figure out. Lungs aren't colored however, so I had to answer that the lungs're stuck to the ribs when my 4 and 6 years old kids asked me where they were.

Because of its small nature, my kids can handle the parts easily with their tiny hands. It was little tricky at first to put them in right places, but they could find the right angle within days (and they forgot that within a day, ran to me, asked me to put them together.)

The only thing I don't like is the paint. The liver and the brain lost it's color soon after a week. This toy is definitely not for under 3, it's for over 4 up to adults who have interests in anatomy.

Smaller than I expected. Good learning tool. Difficult to place back in the storage container. Good basic model for younger kids.

This is how I know that this is a cool educational toy, your kid plays with it all the time. And also other similar products are too complicated to put together, this one is just right for a third grader. It's easy to put together and the anatomical parts have just the right amount of details, my only complain is that it can stand to be a little bigger than the current size. I would recommend to the makers and developers of this educational toy that they make a bigger one and create models that have gradation as far as the anatomical details being more and more complicated so you have models for different ages as they grow to better understand the intricacies of the human anatomy.

This is the fourth Ein 0 Science Product I've bought. We've loved the others and this continues the trend of very affordable soft vinyl models. These are great for little kids just starting to get into biology and science the models are anatomically correct but not so detailed or intricate that they might end up being more confusing than useful.

In addition to the removable pieces, there are also cut outs in the figure itself the vertebrae in the back, eye, and nostrils. The pieces are large and easy for little hands to manipulate though they will take an adult to actually fit the pieces back. When not in use, they make a nice colorful display.

In all, the pieces (as with all Ein O Science products) are nice thick vinyl and not cheap lightweight plastic. It includes a stand and small booklet on the parts. My only nitpick would be that the pieces fit together easier/better.
