Definitely recommend this shoe-tying practice board. We bought it for our son, who was motivated to learn how to tie his shoes, but needed an easy means of practice. The board, with the helpful rhyme on it, worked well as he could refer to the rhyme text for a reminder if he got "stuck" on what to do next. He moved from the board to an actual shoe fairly quickly. It is portable and looked exactly as described in the photo when it arrived.

My 4 year old is using this to practice and it is great.

My 5 year old is learning to tie his shoes and this board is very helpful. He still has a hard time, but I know he'll get it. It's strong and durable and can take some tough love from my little guy. Thanks and great idea!

Honest reviews on I Can Tie My Shoes Board

This has a cute little saying to it but realized that I do not tie my shoes this way so it is hard for me to teach my boys by the saying. The laces are very long and hard for my 4 and 5 year olds to hang on to both of them. They both got frustrated after their first try and haven't tried it again. I gave it 4 stars b/c it may work for some kids and it is a cute concept. I would save my money and just use shoes with normal laces.
