I bought this for my 4 1/2 year old for Christmas instead of a cd player and gave her an old ipod to hook up to it. Best gift yet! Its easy for her to use and if she drops the idog I'm not worried about it breaking. She loves it. The pic is a little deceiving but in the description it does say that you are buying the all white one. Regardless, it was a great deal price wise and so far no glitches or problems with it.

When I first got my idog, I was really happy with it. It played my music, and it was fun to track its emotions. But then it dislocated it's shoulder. Instead of being stiff it became loose and it made a clanking sound as the leg hit the body. It annoyed me, but I could fix it. Then it did it again just now, and I've been working on getting it into its socket. It won't go in, so I've became very fustrated with it. It doesn't really matter, but it bothers me.

I gave this to my 12 year old and my child loves it. It has become his best friend. He even sleeps with it. The dog barks when not played with in a while and blinks different colors depending on it's mood.

I ordered the I Dog for my niece and expected the white and purple flowered one shown in the picture. Instead got an all white one. Still cute and my niece won't know any different, but buyer beware that you may not get the flowered one shown.
