Review of Elenco 9438 2420 Tie Points

I received the package (sooner than expected) and found the breadboard in good condition. It was contained within a plastic and cardboard package. The package itself has pictures of "Other Prototyping Aids" on the back (including the Model 9438C: Breadboard 2390), along with the company address, and other information. It's good to note that "Five Year Warranty" is stated on the front of the package.

The binding posts have to be bolted on, and there are little rubber feet with sticky sides that can be put on the backside of the breadboard. If you put them on right (which is easy) it's a very sold breadboard.

The ground plate is solid and supports the actual board very well. It has just the right amount of weight to it. I have built a few LCD screen circuits with this board and so far it has been excellent.

It's not bad for the $30.00 I paid for it. I expect it to last a very long time.

I had a bit or regret at first because meant to order the 4 Chanel breadboard not the the 3 channel. There is a board larger than this, but I have not had any problems with this board for all the many years i have had it. Nothing has ever come loose or broke, and I think I have had it somewhere around three years.
