Basic Beat combination rhythm sticks are great! One is serated and makes a washboard sound when rubbed. I like the ability to have variety in the sounds with such a small, light weight, easy to carry around instrument! Great for children or adults, rhythm beginners or experts. Lots of fun to play and the smooth wood feels great in my hands.

I purchased these for use with our children's choir at church (K-3rd grade). We use these to study rhythm as part of the music education portion of choir. The kids love them and they are perfect for little hands. These are shorter than standard rhythm sticks, but if you're using them for little kids, they are just right. The kids love using them it makes learning note values and tapping out rhythms a lot more fun and interesting for them.

As a former long time drummer I introduced my son to these for christmas. he loved them. The sticks are about a 5B thickness with no tip, and about half the lenght of a normal stick. The perfect intro for a new little drummer boy.

We purchased several sets for a Summer Sunday School program with an emphasis on music. Kids are ages 2-12. Rhythm sticks are nicely made and just what we needed for hammering the ark, making "frog" and "cricket" sounds, etc.

My oldest daughter uses these in her music class and loves them. I ordered two pairs (one for each daughter) and they both love them. Good for teaching rhythm, for making different sounds, and learning motor skills and body-mind connection. Of course they also use them occasionally to hit one another but that's just kid-nature. Highly recommend them. They'll probably last longer than most of their other toys.
