Purchased this kit for use with our Saxon Math lessons, much more convenient than trying to find the right size containers, being that in my kitchen I have minimal measuring tools, I like that the containers with lids all fit into each other providing for easy storage, the black labeling on these containers has so far not rubbed off or faded, if it does I will post another review.

We homeschool and use Saxon Math as our math curriculum. This set is useful for Saxon Math levels 1-3 (I only did part of the Math K so am not sure measuring is needed then).

As pictured, this set has dry measuring spoons and cups and also has various sizes of liquid measuring cups. The lidded containers go up to one gallon. This set remains with our math manipulatives. Previously, I used my kitchen tools which was great for the budget; however, I'd find I would need my 2-cup liquid measuring cup for math only to have it in the dishwasher or the 1-gallon pitcher only to find it half-full of tea in the fridge. If your budget affords for you to purchase this set, I definitely recommend it.

Each style of measuring container nests quite well with its own kind. The spoons and dry measuring cups are on rings to keep them together. The spoons can be tucked into the liquid measuring cups; but, not the lidded containers the largest measuring spoon is too big to fit in the opening of the smallest lidded container. I find it helpful to have a lidded plastic box to store these all together; that is a separate purchase.
