They are easy to handle and very durable. I would recommend these for any teacher needing manipulatives for counting, sorting, patterning, etc.

These animals by Learning Advantage are excellent quality. I was pleasantly surprised that they're flexible kind of a rubbery texture not hard plastic. The details are excellent. I had been looking for a long time for animals of the same quality that I had as a kid (1970's era) and finally found them with these. I actually bought them for a school's water table because they have the added benefit of being educational. As the kids play, the teachers can ask questions like, "How many blue animals can you find?" Or, "Find three starfish." I was at the school when the kids started playing with them and they just loved them.
