I bought this to have a quick reference to the relationships of various places to my location. A globe is much better than a flat map for this. Since it's lightweight and not attached to a stand, it's easy to grab and rotate to the desired location. I store it under my desk for easy access.

The only complaint I have is that there are fewer labeled places than I would like. For instance, the Azores aren't shown.

This is a great buy for both big and small kids, good for my 8y son to learn about the world and get to know his friends from different countries, and for the 3y little one, it's durable and fun to play with.

Kids love to play with it, either using it as a ball or to find where a particular country is.

The wordings are detailed enough and so far, they managed to find all the countries in the globe.

Inflating the globe is easy, it comes with a valve that prevent air from escaping.

The only downside is I am not sure if the material is durable enough. After some throwing around, there are already a few minor 'dent' on the globe.

Overall it is a good product.
