Giant Standing Abacus Review

I love this abacus. We bought this for my oldest son when he was 5. He learned how to add and subtract using it. Now my 3 year old and 20 month old love to use it, but unfortunately after surviving nearly 7 years and a number of interstate moves, it's broken because my niece visited this summer and decided to use it as a ladder. We were able to tape the ends of the broken rod together, but it interferes with the sliding of the beads. I intend to replace it for my youngest son's birthday. He's already able to count to twenty, and his brother is learning how to count by tens. This really is a very sturdy and high quality product.

I thought this would be a hit for the kids, but it lost attention pretty quickly. However, it looks great and is a great teaching tool, so it gets my praises!
