My friend has this toy for her girls and everytime we go their house, my 3 year old son always asks for it so I knew he would love having one of his own. We bought it for Christmas this year and when I went to wrap it, I saw a warning on the bottom left corner of the box that says it may contain lead! We decided to keep it as my son does not chew on his toys anymore but had I gotten it when he was younger and teething, I would have definitely returned it. And I will probably not let him play with the microphone included because it's just too close for comfort. Not recommended for kids that chew on their toys.

I wanted to get a keyboard for our 2 year old son. We decided to go with this because not only you can play notes, there are preset songs and beats that you can mix with the songs. I wasn't as concerned about getting real looking piano as much as just getting something fun for him.

Pros:

Relatively cheap

Many buttons to play with, and different types of sounds

You can even record your own playing

Microphone is awesome

Several pre-recorded songs that you can play with push of a button

Cons:

It is flimsy, although I never had problem with it falling down or falling apart or anything.

The stool slides easily so it's hard for my toddler to sit down on his own.

Piano sound is not authentic, and if you try to play more than one note at a time, it sometimes plays out of tune

Overall, I think it's a good value for the money. If you are looking for a real-piano feel, or if you want to teach your little one how to play the piano, this is not for you. This is more of a toy piano, good for little toddlers to get exposed to and play around with different beats and sounds. It did its job for me.

I bought this for my 3 year old. It is very wobbly and small. I thought it would have been alot bigger especially the stool.

Honest reviews on Winfun Symphonic Grand Piano

Are you kidding me? This product is labeled age 3+. Yet, right on the front of the box it says "Warning: Contains lead. May be harmful if eaten or chewed. may create lead dust." What? I mean they are admitting, in plain sight, lead in a toy marketed for kids under six. How is this even still available in the US market?

Oh and there was another review on here that said the same thing. But, it vanished. Plus, to the person who thinks it is the circuits. Maybe, but it doesn't say what is lead containing. The fact that it can create lead dust leads me to think it is the paint, not circuits. Why gamble, I'm getting another brand.

This is an excellent musical keyboard for the price. It has everything that is needed to be child friendly, even buttons shaped like other instruments to change the sound from piano to flute to violin, etc. Every part of this keyboard is perfect for a beginner wanting to toy around or those wanting to seriously learn to play. It even has a metronome and a microphone, the only drawback is it's size. We purchased it because we thought the actual shape and design of the piano was damn cute, it stands just like a mini grand piano and looks very glossy. Perfect look to help keep a child excited and interested in playing, but way too small for any child over 7 years old. The intelligence of a child to be able to play on this well exceeds the size of a child actually being able to sit in front of it, therefore, the only thing limiting this keyboard is the actual standing size to accommodate the child.
