I have bought multiple snap circuit kits for my nephew. He loves learning about electricity. He was about 7 when I bought him his first set. The directions are clear and he is always coming up with new ideas on how to do something. The running joke was that he was going to re-wire the house.
If you have a kid that is interested in creating, science and electricity, this is a perfect gift. He could easily play all day with the set.
